What AI in this software actually does (and does not)

SmartRent.ie is software Irish landlords use to self-manage. Some screens offer optional, labelled suggestions (wording, expense categories, a rent figure to consider). You edit or ignore them.

This is not a letting agent, a credit bureau, or a solicitor.

What you still do

• Choose who lives in the property
• Collect rent into your own account
• File tenancy registrations on rtb.ie
• Hire tradespeople you pick

What the optional helpers are

• Applications: notes and suggested wording. No CCR result, no overall score you must follow.
• Expenses: a category you can change. Not Revenue advice.
• Sue Port (help chat): how to use the app. Refuses legal, tax, and agency questions.

What we do not claim

We do not "automate PRTB." Templates and reminders sit in the app. You submit the filing.

We do not find tenants as a service. A public listing is an ad you published.
